and it Burns, Burns, Burns...

To kick start Scottish Weekend on RROS, here's what I had as my Burns supper earlier tonight

Both kinds of Haggis! And a whiskey gravy!

  1. Very nice, Blimpy, but I just pour the whisky straight on - why bother making gravy?

  2. Waaaaah I thought it was tomorrow night! Can't do cordon bleu haggis on a Friday night. Worked late at the office! Not fair! Boo hoo! Can I plead diplomaic immunity and do it tomorrow night. I have to anyway. The damn things are still frozen.

  4. Cripes, fp, the Burns supper season goes on for weeks and weeks here in Bonnie Scotland. Have yours whenever you like!

  5. We tried making a haggis David's mother (who is 100% Scottish, with parents from Motherwell and Dundee) had brought back from Scotland a few years ago (vegetarian, of course) but it seemed...bad. So we just ordered a pizza with thistle and sheep's lung on it.
