I'm so sad. I was just thinking today how underrated he is, and I just used a bit of his song Jumping Master in my ridiculous GarageBand song. I'm floored.
Like Steenbeck I was thinking of Mikey just the other day, trying to remember how one of his songs went and then popped Dread at the Controls on when I got home. I first became aware because of the Clash's 'Bankrobber' single but of course there was a lot more to Mikey than that. RIP Mr Campbell.
