If you do nothing else today, look at TonNL's link to these covers - I am laughing out loud uncontrolably. If you don't at least snigger when you come to Trivs me Brogrens you are effectively brain dead. Quality entertainment - thank you!
Back in the period most of these albums came out, I was living in Sweden. And sorry goneforeign, this is far more typical of Swedish culture than Ingmar Bergman. It's no wonder I used to make record-buying forays to England. I can also translate any comments if you really want to know what they say.
I'm laughing out loud at that Wodka Time one. Isn't that marvellous?

ReplyDeleteI am rather taken by Ingmar Nordströms Saxparty for some reason I cannot quite understand.
ReplyDeleteIs this the same Sweden that gave us The Seventh Seal and Through a glass Darkly?

I'm loving "Favorite Marches for Children".
ReplyDeleteOoh there's another from Trivs Me Brogren! Priceless
ReplyDeleteThe very last one, is probably the most un-boogie face ever.
