Just Dave Van Ronk



Having just acquired this album by devious means, I've put it in the Dropbox for all the rest of you DVR fans.

I'm taking it out on Friday though to make room for the next RR topic.

    I know you've recommended him before, but for some reason I've either never followed it up, or it hasn't been memorable enough to sink in.

    Having played the album, I have to say I like him much better on the songs where he isn't forcing an uptempo growl.

    I've got that album but I have such a great system that I can't find it! I'll have another look later.

    I haven't recommended him, DsD: I just came across the album and remembered there were 'Spillers who liked him.
