Another end of the summer song?

This only got to number 38 in the charts, so therefore I'm declaring a state of "Lost Classic" - code red level 7 threat (especially cos of how beautiful the band are in the video)

No matter that it's been raining in Skye for 49 days straight, there'll always be butterflies in this. . .

  1. "Don't Falter" anyone? Listening now, both me and the mrs still know all the words, despite not having heard it for a decade! Amazing1

  2. Oh man, one of my all-time favourite summer songs. I have this on CD single for some reason, and it certainly gets played every summer.

I remember listening to this on one of the very few occasions I took acid. If only I'd known there was a video with Lauren Laverne and butterflies...

  3. Never mind Barbryn. End of summer means 'shroom season. Not that there are any round here.
Kenickie were great weren't they? I missed this one though. Code red lost classic donded.

  5. Don't think I've ever heard that before. Smoother than I remember Kenickie; more like a rougher-edged Sundays.

Having spent two sessions at Felinwynt Rainforest Centre last week, I think I recognise most of the butterflies, though!

  7. Sigh, bloody lovely! Marie's just lovely, though JohnnyPete looks a bit put out. It's a real crime their second album bombed. There's a really good little documentary on the band breaking up on Youtube if you are a fan:
