It's a Hassidic bar mitzvah. I looked for "bar mitzvah" in google images and liked this one. I like the fact that he has to sit on 4 chairs. I was so impressed by the crowds behind him that I looked into it a little bit and I think he's the grandson of a very famous Hassidic rabbi.

I saw the new Coen Brothers film, A Serious Man, yesterday. Although I was disappointed in the film, there's a great scene of a bar mitzvah where the boy is stoned out of his mind in front of the whole family/community and has to do what a putative man's gotta do.
So here I am, suffering from the inevitable post-match blues, trying to forget, and what's the first thing I see on the 'Spill. A picture of Marouanne bloody Fellaini!
I waitressed for a catering company that did a lot of bar/bat mitzvahs (being entirely kosher food). I remember this one--all the kids were dancing to MC Hammer. They seemed so happy. Nice moment.
Ejay: I'll just say that A Serious Man reminded me of The Man Who Wasn't There in tone. If you liked that, I'm sure you'll like this. On the other hand....
