  1. I haven't had time to listen yet, Shane. BUt I want to tell this story about this time...

I work in a restaurant that could be really wonderful if it wasn't so shitty. It has beautiful bar, a beautiful courtyard, a beautiful fireplace. But they're trying very very hard to be conservative. Well, they are conservative (they HATE the Obamas, watch Fox news, etc.) anyway, back to relevance. They play all this very safe crappy music. But one time, there was this song playing, it was a woman singing - then the music stopped, and she started talking, and the bar got suddenly and strangely quiet, and then she said, "And you FUCK us up the ASS!!" I had a good laugh about that one.

  3. because most people don't understand English over here, you hear swearing on telly and in shops all the time.

unedited clips of Tarentino films on breakfast TV! My favourite was a local chemists I used to go to near my old flat, it was staffed by little old ladies and they blasted hardcore gangsta rap all the time with the most gratuitous swearing....completely oblivious.

..oh and there was a popular novelty hip-hop band a couple of years ago called Nerimuthafuckers (Nerima is a very uncool area of Tokyo, a bit like Ali G being from Staines) who got introduced on prime time telly and talk shows!

  4. Same thing happens in Spain, Japanther, or did until a few years back. Seems things are pretty much the same in Holland, if this language school advert is anything to go by!

  5. When buying tickets for a gig in Bristol, my brother once confused Jackie Leven & Jackie O Motherfucker. We ended up seeing Jackie Leven but to compensate, I sent my brother Jackie's 'So My Soul Can Sing'. More 'fucks' to the linear foot than the fuckforum at fcuk.co.fuk.
