That was about my third go and all the help notes did little to make it easier. I'm amazed that it's so popular here and that there are those who started on Podbean and switched. I've got half a dozen posts lurking at the back of my mind, some even started, so I think I'm going to pop for the first upgrade at Podbean and see how much more that will give me; it does say it allows 'bulk uploading' so that should help with the larger posts.goneforeignhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05903220453599675348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-68509709886952024832008-10-29T22:18:00.000+00:002008-10-29T22:18:00.000+00:00I was interested in the desktop app, too – the abs...I was interested in the desktop app, too – the absence of a progress bar is a real oversight, Boxstr people – but I don't think there's a Mac version.

Anyway, that Hallowe'en playlist is amazing, Shoey.GarethIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13049307897945686705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-73659561269577155252008-10-29T22:01:00.000+00:002008-10-29T22:01:00.000+00:00Oh, & I find the desktop app faster & more...Oh, & I find the desktop app faster & more stable than the Boxtr webpage.Shoegazerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09828201930225840725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-43057831535288305852008-10-29T21:55:00.000+00:002008-10-29T21:55:00.000+00:00If your zip file contains only mp3 files, I would ...If your zip file contains only mp3 files, I would open a support ticket with Boxtr. Other file types might not be supported as mentioned above.

I forked out for the upgrade and just upload mp3s. Tend to take the old files down after a week or so, before the search robots find 'em. Don't mind sharing stuff with the 'Spill family, who will go out and buy more of what they like. Draw the the line at providing an illegal service for freeloading strangers.Shoegazerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09828201930225840725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-46563736103186138232008-10-29T21:45:00.000+00:002008-10-29T21:45:00.000+00:00"Playlist" is a bit of a red herring, possibly. I'd stuffed all of the mp3s for the homonyms list I did, as I didn't fancy uploading them all individually on my (not particularly fast) connection.GarethIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13049307897945686705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-70241897818770967092008-10-29T21:35:00.000+00:002008-10-29T21:35:00.000+00:00Prof, there's an option when you upload files – un...Prof, there's an option when you upload files – under the "My documents" list – for "Extract zip files". That's probably why it won't unpack them for you, as a zip file could contain anything.

The Yahoo player supports xspf files for complete playlists, but haven't tried this & don't know if Boxtr allows these files.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-47769377714411797322008-10-29T20:41:00.000+00:002008-10-29T20:41:00.000+00:00Boxstr wants mp3s not zips - or it does when I'm u...Boxstr wants mp3s not zips - or it does when I'm using it.treefrogdemonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08668655760960757921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-54822547490901938902008-10-29T20:30:00.000+00:002008-10-29T20:30:00.000+00:00my first question would be......why?! what the dev...my first question would be......why?! what the devil are you up to?!!! stuffin stuff?! eh wot?!!Blimpyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03062521891682719767noreply@blogger.com
