Especially the way the accompaniment goes from quiet and gentle to loud and whooshy and back again.

I'm not contributing much at the mo because my father just died. It's OK, I'm not sad - he was 91, and would have had to go into residential care which he would have hated. But we have lived together for the last 8 years and I just feel weird.

Plus, solicitors are really stupid.treefrogdemonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08668655760960757921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-55334670472331388052008-12-15T19:39:00.000+00:002008-12-15T19:39:00.000+00:00Steen: Thank you for that, I would never made a di...Steen: Thank you for that, I would never made a direct comparison otherwise. It doesn't sound like the same bloke, I don't have a date for Uriel but I'd say his was probably at least mid 70's so there's a strong stylistic difference between his rasta voice and Errol's 60's horn driven Rock Steady. He was only about 16-17 when he recorded those cuts and I think you can hear it in his voice.goneforeignhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05903220453599675348noreply@blogger.com
