I love the line..."Tom do this, Tom do that...Tom, don't do that."

And I wish I knew more about LKJ. I've got one double album that I love--never seen him live, though--I'm jealous.

And welcome to the 'Spill!!steenbeckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14870117999742670522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-49678524286628706462008-07-29T11:02:00.000+01:002008-07-29T11:02:00.000+01:00I enjoyed listening to this v much yesterday eveni...I enjoyed listening to this v much yesterday evening, though it involved putting the toaster on the kitchen floor so I could set the laptop up to listen whilst cooking ! The Tom Waits is my favourite, though possibly the sound quality from the laptop, with frying noises off, didn't do justice to it all.

Also impressed with your in-depth LKJ knowledge. I saw him in Leeds about 12 years ago. He did Q&A with the audience and, when asked about the music he liked, the first thing he said was Charlie Parker's version of the Gershwins' "Embraceable You". I'm ashamed to say, I've yet to find it and listen to it !Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1533372025110910037.post-63486895470784079102008-07-27T22:19:00.000+01:002008-07-27T22:19:00.000+01:00Good choices as usual SteenbeckGood choices as usual SteenbeckShoegazerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09828201930225840725noreply@blogger.com
