My iPod seems to be strangely comic-free, so no tracks from me this week, but I thought this picture (by my brother) combines the current crisis with this week's topic rather neatly!

BTW I'm sure all you Deadheads know about archive.org, but I've just found out that the Gourds are now on it - enough free live Gourds to fill a whole other iPod I should think. (But they haven't got any songs about comics or cartoons.)

Growin' a Beard

Oh bother, it's not St Patrick's Day any more and I've lost my chance to tell you about the beard-growing competition they have in Shamrock, Texas, where the competitors shave on New Year's Day and then don't shave again till the winner is chosen on St Patrick's Day...there's a half-hour documentary about it with music by the Gourds!
