This was sort of a strange synchronicity, (how the heck do you spell that?). I was just enjoying this new-to-me blackalicious EP, a few weeks back, when along comes young Ejay and shares an amazing Nina album. Not sure anything compares to NIna, but this track does sample her voice, so I admire them for admiring her...

I liked this, especially the 90s-ness of it. It's funny, I've had Blackalicious recommended to me since their first album, but I don't remember knowingly hearing them until you started posting them.
Have to confess I've never really been much of a Nina fan, but the Blackalicious is indeed hipperbolically delicious.
I never mock words, I talk words.
THanks for listening, boys. I think I first heard blackalicious when TonNL nominated Chemical Calisthenics, which is indeed a remarkable track, and it's taken me a while to get around to getting a few albums.
I seem to like that 90s-style One DJ/One MC set up.
Speaking of 1 MC 1 DJ set-up, did you see about Guru? In a coma after a heart attack apparently. Get well soon
