Thanks for the 332221222 support on RR, here's the Ninja Tunes track I was thinking of,
Neptune- Soul Pride. The bass is played live, so it's not a sample, but I think they are referring to 332221222. For saneshane, this is a J Swinscoe project with the cinematic orchestra musicians.

Thanks for listening, Nilpferd. I like that Neptune track, particularly the bassline! I'm going to try to listen to more Don Ellis after the weekend. It had an appealing whacky yet tuneful quality.
