A few of them have seen it, and it's not looking good, especially for Method Man (although he enjoys it) and the Violet one, who predicts a future with the systematic overthrow of the underclass and ponies flashing loaded pistols. Goodie Mob's outlook isn't that brighter actually, even the UN will be undertaking assassinations. Incognito are a big tease and don't tell us what they've actually seen.
On the more positive front, there's the Beach boys ever sunny classic, Gilberto Gil is on an express to the year 2222, those who've already been on it say the wheat shines endlessly, among other things. Big Daddy Kane gets all romantic, using the timeless line "if looks could kill, you'd be in jail". The Notations provide the soundtrack for what sounds like a sunny New Day.

ejaydee: I've put the Aeroplane remix of Shortwave Set's Now 'til '69 that I was mentioning in the dropbox and I see Tincanman's moved it to the Future (Fri & Sat) folder. Enjoy.
Thanks, BalBeat I downloaded it, but I haven't listened to it yet. Coincidentally, there's another remixed FF song featured on the Music podcast.
Oh yes, so there is: the Wild Geese remix of Jump In The Pool, which I'm just listening to now...mmm, yeah, I can see me playing this out a lot. Have you heard the Air France remix of Skeleton Boy too? As they said on that podcast, their remixes are always bob-on. Both are on that there Spotify.
Ooh I look forward to that. Beach Party is a big favourite of mine. Speaking of remixes, I have a question, do you play any Hot Chip (or their remixes) and do they get a good response?
The AF remix is going to get played a lot at EjD Towers this summer, provided we have one, summeer that is.
Aeroplane did a mix for mixmag 'disco balearica' in april.. they got The Belle Star doing sign of the times in the mix - gotta love em just for that - well I do any way.. must be me age!
I'm only on my first sip of beer.. that sentence has more mixes than Four Tets 'as serious as your life'.
Must be my age too then, shane. It's great that Aeroplane "Disco Balearica" mix. Does exactly what it says on the tin and slipping The Belle Stars on there is a proper Balearic move of which I wholeheartedly approve, as you'd imagine! I'll put it up in dropbox later, as it's got the ultra-rare House of House "Rushin' To Paradise" on it too, which I love. I was thinking Aeroplane could do no wrong last year (cf their ace remix of Low Motion Disco's "Love Love Love" as well, until I heard the atrocity of a remix they did of the Beach Boys' "God Only Knows". God only knows indeed. Despite that, I have high hopes for their album, which is out soon.
Not sure where I stand on Hot Chip actually, ejaydee. I've liked some things (Boy From School particularly), but some I just find annoying. We occasionally play it just to wind up my mate Jeff, who looks unnervingly like the beardy one from Hot Chip.
If you like that Air France remix, check out their album, "No Way Down" on spotify, which is very much in the same vein. Swedish, I believe, in spite of their name.
@ BB
If you want to put stuff in dropbox for other people, go right ahead. But maybe put it in a folder so I don't think it is something for this week that just hit the rim and bounced out.
Also, you can create a folder outside the RRdropbox and send invites to people if you want to use dropbox to send something privately.
Cool, thanks Tin. I'll get my head round the protocol eventually!
I'm listening now to Now 'til 69, BBeat, loving it.
Excellent. Thought you'd love it; it's a great record. Aeroplane do love a big breakdown in their tunes and that one feels like it's constantly building up to one enormous one throughout the track, whilst never quite doing so. It gives it a real momentum. The Shortwave Set album, Replica Sun Machine is rather good too. Nothing like the remix; much more blissed-out West Coast psychedelia.
Wasn't the bright tomorrow I was expecting, but when is it ever? Paris was my highlight, very 80's feel without sounding dated.
I hope next week's list will be more successful with you, shame you had to wait until the end to find one you like. I did like your list though.
Don't get me wrong - liked it all fine; just liked the last one best. Love the unpredictability of your lists - you never know where you're going next.
