Superb Fife Folktronisist and Fence Records honcho The Pictish Trail has made a lovely video for his song "Winter Home Disco". It's all filmed just down the road, from what I can make out, and is one of my current fave songs. Perfect for this time of year; it's too cold to go out, so make your own disco at home!!

I love this track so much..
at the end of last year I had a run of trying to get it in RR themes.. didn't work for nightclub (it being a home disco) or for Light as sunlight was banned.. even though I argued the case for the lines "you put the light off and everyone lies down"
looks lovely round your way.. apart from all those Fence weirdoes.. think there's a Fence night at Norwich art centre soon.. must look that up..
great video.
I just had to go on the Fence site and order some stuff - to keep me going through the winter that, inevitably, will last a fifetime.
I'm still wet from trying to walk to a loch!
What, no tortoises...
The tortoise is nearly ready!!
I got £79 worth of kit kats from Fence as well!
they're really not right in the head.
£79 worth of kitkats is one heck of a lot really when you think about it!!
too right..
in the summer it would be fine.. the chocolate would melt and the biscuit could be crumbled.. but in the frozen frostiness of winter.. that many ain't gonna fit through my letter box.
(hopefully they send the vinyl instead.. not melted)
fifetime is just great by the way.
we don;t have a letterbox, the postie just tends to throw things vaguely in the direction of our back door. our postie smokes a big fat cigar on his rounds.
the kitkats could be posted one or two at a time?
really liked this and had never heard of Fence records so will definitely investigate.....beautiful area by the way...

Shane - Connie Plank's studio may be available.
Blimpy - Nope, don't need one - I'm in Florida.
