Aries, the ram..
DJ Krush/Coldcut- dream team with "Sign".
Cannonball Adderley's Aries; recorded in 1972 but long unavailable, rereleased last year on the Cannonball Adderley/David Axelrod compilation Walk Tall, and my second favourite "new release" of 2008...
Several other good omens.. George Duke's Capricorn, and some laid back D&B with Droppin' Science- Astrologikal, followed by classic vibes driven trip-hop- Taurus Woman, vocals by Carleen Anderson, with the Subterraneans.
Closing with Cannonball Adderley's Capricorn, from the album Music Y'all, this one without voiceover, although it does have a nice intro by Adderley.
That's a lot of goats on the 'Spill this week, what with Steinbock's and He-goat-dee's two each above. Lucky I have a ram here to keep them in line..
Reminds me I have to go and try the goat's blue cheese I got this morning from our local deli..

Thanks, nilpf. I enjoyed these more than I expected to. A nice way to start the weekend...
And here's that same Rhodes riff, bit in this case it's obvious because it's the same song.
You mean Capricorn? Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth, In the house. I think the actual Capricorn PR used is the one off Cannonball's Music Y'all, which I might add here.
Aries the Ram...that's me that is
come in and sit down, Sourpus, and welcome to Aries Anonymous.. is there anything in particular you want to share with us..
Nilpferd, I think I keep forgetting to tell you how much I like the DJ Krush/Coldcut. If I was in charge, that'd be in the list. Also, obviously, I liked the Cannonball Adderley.
How was the goat's blue?
Thanks steen- the cheese was very nice, creamy and tangy. I'll have to check what it was called next time I'm there.
