Oh my freaking GOD!!!!!!!!! This deserves the multiple exclamation marks!!!!
Shane, I was catching up with all the downloads, & came across some Irish guy, swearing & rapping (Dylan Moran to music). It had no tags & suspect it's one of your's or Japanther. It's driving me crazy to find out more. Any ideas?
I've had a very strange Pavlovian reaction to this tape: I'm wanting to braid my hair into tiny plaits all over, drink vodka and lime and dance to angry vagina music. Help!
you think you've got problems? I've squeezed myself into a skinny Adidas 3 stripe top, and am currently trying to pull any middle class goth girl that looks in my general direction. That and cutting a rug to Cannonball mixed into Slight Return.
Blimpy - you've pretty much described my entire University experience.....now, where did I put that dark-blue-with-orange-piping skinny fit Shed 7 T-shirt.....?
I had the same reaction while copying it- mostly to the IDha track- it must have been put on various mix tapes to long lost loves... what do I remember about them? mostly Doc Martins and Red/black or Purple/black Stripy tights.
@Shoey
FIRST BORN is the band name (if he just says feck throughout) don't know the track title- research later.
That's the one - it's great - cheers.
Shoey
the song is called : Happy Days
from an album called 'When it hits you feel no pain' and I think the ranting Irishman is Bennan Murphy... (I could cross reference that last point- but- half arsed information is were my head is at- so don't take it as a fact)
Wow, I think me, Blimpy, Japanther and Shane hung out at the same kind of clubs at the same kind of time: you were the kind of boys I would be sharking for back then, in my stripey tights and panda eyeliner...
The Idha track was a shocker too, the others I had at least heard in the interim, but I'd forgotten all about it, despite, yes, putting on aseveral mixtapes for those skinny indie boys.
Thanks, Shane; will certainly track down that album.
