If I can drag you away from preening in the mirror for a few moments, which of these two gloomy offerings should be declared Shoey's album of the month? Antlers Soulsavers
I've been gothing up the soulsavers thanks to my neighbour keeping hold of the vinyl for me, when I was away... love it to death. (they sent me a mix cd too) can't listen to the other, must sleep... visitors turing up tomorrow, so quite from me this weekend... hooray!
Tough one. I really like The Antlers' "Bear", and I wasn't partial to most of what I'd heard from The Soulsavers so far (that record named "It's not how far you fall...") But this new track I do like, in fact I like it so much I'm going to give that other record another try. I think my vote is for The Antlers, though, but for a narrow margin...
My Soulsavers order can be placed now I'm home from hols, so perversely I'll go for Antlers from you Shoey, to give me something I don't know.
Oh, and Tough Guys Don't Dance is well worth a revisit: try this wonderful piece of animation over Closer, which caused me to add it to last month's Social CD -

good news about the forthcoming goats.
i listened
NP, 'Spill would be dull if we all liked the same stuff.
i think my comment got cut off earlier
i was intrigued by the second track.
Still a little ambiguous there Mr. McFlaugh. My electric bill intrigues me, but it doesn't mean I likey. Cheers for listening, anyway.
1st choice was probably inappropriate given impending 'Spill births, but it's too late now.

Thanks for listening Lambretina, I'm also going to dig out some old Soulsavers. The 1st Antlers album is also well worth a spin.
Let's see, if we count the ambiguous vote from Hairy Potter, that's Soulsavers 2, Antlers 1, so far.
