I saw them for the first time at The Africa Centre in Covent Garden about 1987, then subsequently a whole bunch more times - lost count. Ive seen them support The Cocteau Twins, that I do remember. I also saw them play a double header with The Sundays. I guess you could say I was a fan.
This is a cracking track. And people call Joni Mitchell a 'confessional songwriter' (tut)
Another fan here. I love the quirky rhythms and words of The Real Ramona. Only saw them the once, though.
Is it time to put 'chick' back in the coop and 'shred' back in the marmalade yet? Both words need to be relieved of these tatty meanings as soon as possible.
"Shred" isn;t a word i normally use, it;s more of a wank americanism for playing um, wanky, guitar solos. like having "chops" or whatever it is they say...
It was more of a way of slimming down the competition, giving it some focus.

Either that Chris, or we reclaim them, like LGBT people have reclaimed "Queer".
'Reclaim'?? Who claimed them originally?!! I think we've lost enough good words already to short-cut culture....
Sincerely,
Disgusted of Tunbridge Wells (apparently)
I have a signed TM record around here somewhere - i think it;s the 12" of Bright Yellow Gun....
