A couple of days ago a tweet from @plasmatron (aka Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai) alerted me to a free downloadable compilation album which has been released by Deathbomb Arc. You can download it from here.
I have to confess that I hadn't heard of Deathbomb Arc, but this album is full of great tracks and has introduced me to some bands I hadn't heard before who I'll now be looking out for. It's also introduced me to at least one early contender for this year's Festive 50+.
Just wanted to share, is all.

Japanther introduced me to Foot Vollage earlier this year and I saw them at the Luminaire. I'll look forward to playing this tomorrow.
cheers for this SKP - i'm halfway through and it sounds brilliant so far, a real cornucopia of different sounds and styles.
i've got a couple of Deathbomb Arc records, they usually make the effort with lovely handmade silkscreened jackets....one LP I have is hand-numbered 63/100 !! Which I think is my record for lowest number pressing! not that i'm a sad vinyl nerd or anything......
