From the sublime to the ridiculous... often my little ones are as happy with a spiderman I draw and cut out of paper as with their plastic toys, and I found this website (and I'm sure there are many others) that have a lot of sweet little cut out toys. Parents--it's the price of a piece of paper and a bit of printer's ink...

my wee one gets as much out of the box, as the toy itself, a cliche but it's true. especially if it's a big box.
