Name notwithstanding, this is a lady (and off to the vet tomorrow to have bits removed). She was named at less than a week old by her original owner before her sex was clear but there didn't seem to be any point in changing it.
And I would just like to say that last night I was embarrassed to have read the word wrong, but this morning I feel proud to have added a word to the RR vocabulary. It has all the right qualities--it's international and nonsensical. Keep using it, Nilpferd, it'll catch on.
Actually sb, I'm impressed with the 'souriste' one. And it reminds me of the parfumeries in Grasse, when staying at my ex-brother-in-law's glorious hilltop villa . . . [sigh]

He looks like a Meuriste....
Zissou the Meuriste - I like it.

Yes! We need a whole gallery of pictures of cats listening to music. I'll have to look out my camera.
How about Zissou is a souriste? Punning in a language you don't speak--never a good idea.

Although, Steenbeck, perhaps your dog is the Meuriste, if we're taking the cat/homocidal variation...
She'd probably like that. It's hard for her, this coddled life in a vegetarian household. She's a hunting dog, dammit, a meuriste!!
