This is dreadful news. I've followed his career since I saw him in "Ten Things I Hate About You".
I opened the GU as I do every morning and there it was. "Oh Christ..." First saw him, unbelievably handsome and funny, in "The Knight's Tale". Then he lifted that remake of "The Four Feathers" with every scene he played. Career defining role in "Brokeback Mountain". He joins the ranks of James Dean and River Phoenix among others. My condolences to his family. I'm sad for all the films we won't see him in.
