Passive Aggressive Help Required!

someone at my place of work sent out a ridiculous email about the state of our shared kitchen today, which sent me scurrying off to passiveaggressivenotes.com, where the above gem comes from. i intend to start leaving surreal and ridiculous notes in said kitchen on order to satirise the situation in a merry prankster fashion. this is where i need some help. any suggestions on notes i can pin up would be gratefully received - the odder the better! i will take photos and report back.
also, if any spillers have any interesting quirks, similar to the one expressed in the photo above - do tell!
in other news, fans of jayz, kanye, and santogold - you should probs click here for a treat! nice work from death from below.

i'm not allowed to view it from the UK, but i have watched all of the US Office, bar the newest series! love it!

That's very funny, because I'm trying to watch something on BBC and I'm not allowed to here. Bastards!

it is possible to bypass this sorta "regioning" by going to a website that can disguise your IP address first and bouncing from there.

yeah, the iplayer is ace, by the way...

Do you have to pay for that?

Not for the kitchen, but saw this sign in a business bathroom "Please shit at home. Thank You. The Management".

@steen - the iplayer? we have to pay the license fee if that's what you mean - but essentially it's free.

@shoey - the capacity humans have for kindness knows no bounds. if someone knocked on my door really needing a dump, i'd let them. when ya gotta go, ya gotta go!

@steen

try:

http://www.ipdisguise.com/

it's free, you go there, put in the web add you want into the box near the bottom of the page, and it'll disguise your global location etc. and take you to your target.

i tried it for that nbc link and it worked (i didn't have the right plug in to watch tho)

let me know if you can access iplayer!!

It seems to know I'm not in UK, even going through that website. Shoot.

Blimpy said...

oh shoot, you'll need a UK based proxy server, rather than the one i listed above!

In the Richard Farina book 'I've Been Down So Long It Seems Like Up To Me', the lead character leaves a note for someone which reads/ends "The statement on the other side of this note is true" : the other side of the note is exactly the same but ends "The statement on the other side of this note is false"

Thanks, Blimpy, I'm still having trouble getting it to work, but no doubt that's my stupidity.

I was thinking it would be fun to have a 'Spill christmas party--pick a random day when most people were around (a weekday?), try to space it so goneforeign could have a drink (so after 12 noon pacific time, say) and everyone in UK was still awake (before 9 uk time). and um, everyone could drink whatever they wanted to at their own home and we could think of, I don't know...

steen that's an excellent idea, though I'm not sure my office photocopier will cope with having my drunken arse plonked on it for some coarse printing!

Andandandand [says he, warming to the theme] it wouldn't matter if we all copped-off with someone after a few party drinks, because the only people around WOULD BE OUR OTHER HALVES!!

Blimpy - we've just been told we're all to have an 'office charter'on our desks, which has got everyones back up - passive aggressive doesn't come in to it, it's just patronising. Anyway, lots of people have come up with alternative versions ranging from 'do not eat pilchards from a tin whilst answering the telephone' to the less polite.

Steenbeck - that's a great idea, I won't have to worry about a baby sitter.
