Ah, Mnemonic, I was sure you'd have heard of the Mae Shi. I listened to some other stuff on youTube and was underwhelmed, but it was lots of live stuff, which is always hard to hear.

Now I'm very intrigued by the Dirtbombs. Are they British?

This was great! I love the Dirtbombs (and The Gories before them) and Mick Collins is a true eccentric genius.

Steen - they are from Detriot and have been putting out pure garage rock for years and years without selling out, even when the Detroit scene blew up with the success of The White Stripes

I think they're Deeeee-troit, steen. Also rans of the garage rock revival from quite a few years ago now.

Tidy performance, like!
