The local paper in Lubbock, Texas is called the Avalanche. Goodness knows why.

Makes about as much sense as Bradford's own Telegraph & Argus.

To add to the confusion here, most customers will ask for a "Telegraph", and would be completely flummoxed if you gave them a copy of The Daily Racist ...
