A few props

This is a reshoot and inevitably seems less spontaneous, more selfconscious...but something went wrong with the first effort and I had to edit it; then it wouldn't save in the right format. Sigh.

I did try steenbeck's in-car version but my car is a diesel and I didn't like the engine noise.

That was beautiful, treefrogdemon. I loved the warmth of the light and the way that small glimpses of things combined to make a moving portrait. (Unintended double entendre). Really really nice. What format did you save it in to get it to post directly to blogger? I had to upload mine to youTube first, after a bunch of error messages. I like your way better though.

Thank you! It's .avi - I tried TouTube but it didn't work there at all.

Brilliant - so simple, so effective, and lovely light, focus, depth of field (and a great toon, to boot)! Cheers!

Good stuff, tfd.

I did, as promised, shoot a portion of the walk to DarceysSis' school. But, also as promised, my camerawork (whilst walking) is crap (brings on motion sickness on playback). And thanks for the tip, whoever it was, but my cheapo camcorder has no Audio In slot. A shame as I planned to segue Satchel's Peace And Quiet into Brad's Playground as I left the countryside panorama and approached school.

I take it, DsD, you don't have a Mac with iMovie? (It wd be a cinch that way)

Nope. Just a PC, no editing software that I've found, let alone understood, and a sixty quid Aldi digicam!
