Weapons of mass distraction

As we are on a movie theme this week, thought I'd share another poster I came across (from an early Russ Meyer). Evens up the Rammstein posting...

Beyond the Valley Of the Dolls is such a mental film, I couldn't beleive my eyes when I first saw it - so quotable too!

"Lose your laundry" etc etc

Agree about Beyond the valley... Utterly bonkers, wish I could remember all that groovy slang, dig?

I found BTVOTD even more of a shock, having read Valley of the Dolls. I don't think I saw anything else quite so disturbing till David Lynch came along. Meyer was a great parodist of cinematic styles and tricks. My mind's not sure about the porn (even if my loins are), but at least the later flicks had high production values. Well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it (no pun intended).
