Loved Summer in the City, would add to my dondy list, except sounds more about loneliness than strangers to me, unless I missed something in the lyrics?
Regina sounds like she could be Chris Garneau's sister, check him out if you haven't already.
ah, thanks, Shoegazer. I did nominate it for songs about being alone, but I think it does fit this week better, almost, and she does use the word "stranger" twice!!
Ejaydee, are you en Amérique? (I got that phrase from Tintin)
Would that be Boston? I was just having a nostalgic look at a map of Boston. We lived there for a few years. Much fun to be had in that city.
Not sure about NYC, I must talk to my brother. This would be the week, though, because Malcolm starts school soon. Summer vacation still flies by and I don't have anything I'm vacationing from.
Close, Worcester actually, until tomorrow. Let me know, but if you don't find the time or I can't make it o yours I still have some things for you I could send you.
It is a people-y place. Well, I guess I could cancel one of my matinee shows, but I'm really trying to see as much as I can though. Should I sacrifice Xanadu or Grease?
Thanks, Daddypig, I like the Elmore James best this week, too, and he's not in the A-Z! I always listen to music posted on the 'Spill in the most distracted manner, It's hard to carry an iMac around with you.
Ejaydee, looks like we'll be in NYC on Friday, rousting about and ne'er-do-welling downtown and in Brooklyn, I believe.

Yes I am en Amérique, in Jonathan Richman country at the moment, in NY tuesday late at night. Will you be making your trip to the city?

Do they say WOOstuh?
I'm still waiting to hear from my brother. I was in Manhattan all day yesterday, actually. It's so people-y.
Ejaydee, I assume your schedule is full with at least 2 broadway musicals a day punctuated by meals at the hard rock café.

Actually I'll have to scrap dinner at Arby's on Thursday because I'm going to a Nubians concert it turns out!
Lovely playlist, thank you; though I've not really done it justice, playing it in the background whilst trying to work.
The Elmore James is especially good for me, really interesting and different rhythm for him. accentuates the Strangeness !
