my paperwork suffered this afternoon listening to this.. my sons had a fever for two days.. so I may be going slightly sleep deprivation crazy.. or just an emotional wreak .. but the poor mutt Harry got to me.
Shoegazer, sorry I haven't had time to listen, and I hope the tropical storm/hurricane is treating you gently.
Shane... I hope Zane is feeling better. It's awful when they're sick, and for me a fever is always the worst, but they say a fever's not really something to worry about. (Whoever "they" is, apparently doesn't have children...)
Shane: Hope your son gets well soon (probably not the best time to listen to Harry's sad tale) & that you kept awake long enough to see we got the Goats in at last!
Blimpy: No plans for a shoecast, but this radio thing may be fun once in a while, especially if I can locate my Ivor Cutler collection.
Steen: It's more than a bit soggy here, but no big deal so far.
Have opened up the tracks for thievery or to let you know what the hell that was before it falls off the page.
People Like Us is Vicki Bennett who does some wonderful things with found sounds. Couple of gems from the late Vivian Stanshall (of Bozo Dog Doo-Dah Band fame) from the hilariously twisted "Sir Henry at Rawlinsons End". check out the film if you get a chance. AGF, who is the recording name of Antye Greie-Fuchs, who creates sonic marvels. Andy Fairley, another dead genius. Tindersticks with (I'm fairly certain) Terry Edwards, (better known for his trumpet & sax with Gallon Drunk, Tindersticks, Nick Cave, Spiritulised etc.) told the sad tale of Harry's Dilemma.
