The Spring is Sprung revisited

Am recovering from a slightly premature birthday party and some rather good Bath Ales, whilst waiting for the verdict on my car (MOT time again). To take my mind off things I thought I would investigate Dropbox and, if possible, upload some music.

For a start, here are links to Tir na nog (Two White Horses) and Stackridge (God Speed the Plough) which I mentioned rather belatedly on the mothership:

http://www.last.fm/listen/artist/Stackridge/similarartists
Stick with the Stackridge, it's an instrumental and builds up as it goes along - I hadn't heard it for years but I still find it very evocative.

Now, with any luck here are some enjoyable tunes with a vaguely nature-ish theme. I discovered (too late for the main blog) that "Linden Lea" was written by Vaughan Williams, so it's not traditional - anyway, Maggie Boyle makes a good job of it. Hope you are all enjoying some Spring sunshine, and that it stays fine for a very Happy Birthday to Tessimel on Wednesday. In the meantime, let me know what you think of the music (assuming this works, of course)

Linden Lea
Fruit Tree
Orange Blossom Special
Queen Bee
The Cuckoo
Four Seasons in One Day
Here Comes the Sun

Second attempt with sincere thanks to Ejaydee and Steenbeck ... let's see if I've got it right!

Alimunday--you have to add a little bit of HTML before and after the tracks to make it work like a playlist. I could do if for you, if you like, this time, and then you can see how it's done for the future. Let me know if you'd like me to, I don't want to go into your post unless you say it's okay.

I made the same mistake Ali. Basically, type the song's name in your post. Then select it, and hyperlink to the dropbox link, if you know what I mean.

Steenbeck and Ejaydee - I think I see what you mean, if I highlight the text (song name) there's an option to add a link. I'll have a go - but later, as I have to collect laddo - Steenbeck, if I still can't figure it out I will accept you're very kind offer, thank you!

Ali, It's official - you have proven yourself smarter than Toffee or Gremlin (who still can't figure out the mysteries of the Yahoo player).

Welcome Ali
Even more tunes to listen to through the week when I am supposed to be ironing the kids knickers.

Tincanman - we went away for the weekend and left my step son (19) in charge of the cat. On return I expected to find beer cans in the garden and wreckage throughout the house. The only thing out of place was the iron and the ironing board. Is that sad, or should I be proud of him?
