Veggie Meat ya all!

due to the trades descriptions act this post title has been changed!!!

Bongwater-chicken pussy
Brakes-spring chicken
Von Sudenfed-chicken yama
Surf City-canned food
Shout out Louds-meat is murder
Aberfeldy-vegetarian restaurant
DJ Format- ill culinary behaviour
Aesop Rock-food clothes medicine
Fini Tribe- animal farm
Ok I possibly don't own any metal.. but I thought the poll down the side needed a balanced playlist...

I'm loving the playlist, esp the food/sex theme that seems to crop up across the tracks. i now don't know if i'm feeling hungry or horny....

I do still have the playlist that we did for some reason about EGGs.. good track.....

Blimpy
I do have a blues style song called food and pussy (don't quote me on the style, I can't find it to check) but I might save that for the feline playlist!

(The Squid turned up by the way steen with the roots .. very very cool thank you very much.. do you make them yourself? and is it from the other blog that you accidently posted once?.. that will look odd to anyone else won't it.. oh well)

I've also got to say I have found about 6 of R.L Burnside and 9 buddy wakefield tracks in my collection that I had never noticed enough.. I'm in your debt for pointing them out.. so so good to listen to.

Hello, is that Trading Standards?
...
Yes, I'd like to make a complaint.
...
Goods not as described.
...
It was called Veggie Metal, but when I'd paid and gone in there wasn't any metal at all.
...
What? Really? Veggie is allowed as a de facto description meaning 'with all [XXXXX] removed'? That can't be right, can it?! Can't you at least get them to stop misleading me?
...
Oh, OK, yes please. The address? It's a song playlist on a music blog called The 'Spi... hello? Hello? Damn, must've lost my signal.

Great stuff Shane....your bottomless collection never fails to amaze!

Here's something I posted on RR a while back, but very fitting for this too:

Great to hear Finitribe again (found a copy of De Testimony recently - it was like meeting up with an old friend) & Bongwater of course. Particularly liked the hip-hop choices.

@japanther
I remember you posting that last time- love it.

@shoey
have a soft spot fore finitribe as my mate who I shared a house with as students, spent all his cash on samplers and keyboards, after all our fun playing, the bank seized his assets (except those I 'brought' from him for a pound) making him get a job while studying.. first night flipping burgers.. turns up in his finitribe T-shirt.
"FUCK (golden arch)"
he didn't last long.

Shane- just to tie in with Steenbeck's mention of MF Doom's Herbs mix a week or so ago, there's also a fine MF Doom album called "Mm.. Food" .. reissue promotion here..

reminds me a little of Ninja Tunes stuff, with lots of obscure spiderman samples, etc.. and of course any food playlist would not be complete without something off DJ Food's A Recipe for Disaster..
