Shagadelic Baby! FP's Sexy-Time playlist

I hereby decline responsibility for any bedroom injuries sustained whilst listening to this list. I do not envy Dorian. My initial deezer list has about 40 songs in. Just shows that music really IS the food of love, eh? Anyway, I wish you all a Very Happy Valentine's Day and please note that I've thoughtfully left the quiet song for the end and the post-coital cigarette.
We care about these things on The 'Spill...

What happened to 'Slow Hand'?

N.O.D. - Not on deezer. It would have made the list, honest. So would have "there's nothing like this" by Omar. And I soooo wanted to include Roxy's "Love is the drug". It has been the hardest ever to reduce to 10. And the eagle eyed among you will see that I haven't even managed that!

some of us are nichtraucher, FP..

lots of good stuff on your playlist.. I'd have gone for "into the groove" for Madonna, simply because I had a crush on her in Desperately Seeking Susan..

Look of love was the soundtrack to the original Casino Royale, which kind of ruins the erotic side to it for me...actually none of the Bond themes were that sexy, possibly Sheena's accent in For yure aiyes ownly comes closest.

Quite right too - I can honestly say I've never had a post-coital cigarette in my life! But I thought it might be nice to provide some music for those who do. I'm like that. And if we're laughing at Sheena Easton's accent (and why not) have a good listen to the marvellous 'You got the look' with Prince where she lets rip with a real Glaswegian "Oh Puhleeze!"

Thanks for this one FP - especially the MC Solaar, a translation of which would be appreciated. Not a great deal of Chic on Deezer, but I think 'Warm Summer Night' is also a contender.

Cheers, oh Scary one. My worst fears confirmed - tee hee. The MC solaar song, although wonderful, is totally untranslatable. You see, he's playing with the words in French which are the four suites in a deck of cards: trèfle = clubs, pique = spades, caro = diamonds, coeur = hearts. If I tell you the refrain is "je suis l'ace de trèfle qui a piqué ton coeur, Caro" you'll see what I mean. FrogPrince tells me that the ace of clubs signifies happiness, so you could say 'I am the ace of happiness who has moved your heart, Caroline". Very very very clever lyrics. But then his always are. Off to look at YOUR red deezer player - well done for that!!!

Quick proof-read of my translation:
'I am the ace of happiness who has pierced your heart, Caroline'. It's closer.

'lost in translation' peut-être?

Thanks for your sterling effort and remind me to encourage my scarydaughter (quickly approaching that 'options' time of year at High School) to stick with French even though her friends aren't enamoured...

Oh she really should. The quality of life here is something else. Not to mention the health care. She could do a lot worse, you know. Take the Scaryfamily to France on holiday and she'll totally see the point of learning her verbs when she can actually talk to people. That's how it worked with me. Bon courage!
