This is just a test transmission to find out if I've arrived and can post here. Now, if I can just think of something intelligent and thought- provoking to say about contemporary music I'll have cracked it.
That Matt Monro's pretty good innit?
Will this do? Be fair - it's me first post.

Fab first post, welcome aboard!

The Spill does, however, demand a picture with every post!

tut tut tut DsD.
"When you write a post, on the line where you see Font, etc. Click on the picture between the spell checker and what looks like a piece of film. My advice is to upload a picture that's on your computer rather than a URL, so first download it then upload it."

Um, Blimpy, how small is the text going ot be on the sidebar? I'm starting to have to squint. It could be just me ageing though. 26 is the new 76

Hmmm, I've tried to make it bigger, see what you think.

I have noiticed that the blog looks different when viewed on a pc.

I mostly see it through a macs eyes.

the last time I looked on a pc, the spill logo looked a bit, well, remedial...

I always see it on a mac, but hold on, what's this?! The logo now looks, erm, less good. Is it dying?. What happened to that first illustration?
By the way I am currently trying out the Aeroplane over the Sea thing, and I just recognised a sample from Girl Talk ("Hey 1,2,3,4"). I think I agree about the voice, it's not terrible most of the time, but this could have been something even more special.

I think logo-rot has set in, i hear it;s quite common on blogs these days.

I'm really pleased that you're listening to ITAOTS, and yes Girl Talk is like a greatest hits of indie sometimes!

The voice does grow, like mould.

i'm not really making much sense, the sedatives have just kicked in.
