Its just ace, isn't it? As for best band in the world, though, its mighty close. That said, I reckon Dear Science needs to be pretty special to knock The National off that perch. I am LOVING The Virginia EP...

I do have The National's album somewhere, maybe I should give it another listen. Which track should I start on?
Ooh lucky you. If its Boxer you've got then there isn't a weak track on there. Not one. Fake Empire is as strong an opening to an album as there is. Fact.
If its Alligator, which is just that bit more inaccessible at first, I'd shoot to Lit Up and follow it with Abel, All The Wine and Mr November, then I would be all in love and ready to let them do anything they wanted to me. Fact!
