Wow, shane, that's marvellous! The picture, I mean - no time to listen to the music yet, I'm watching the tennis.

AWESOME POST! I'm chuffed (even old Dinos get chuffed, y'know!)

Dino On The Ark has been in my head for the last 4 days, I was even singing it today, LOVE THAT SONG!

Is that a Dinosaur Jr sleeve I can see in the back of the most excellent artwork? Is it "You're Living All Over Me"?

For my b'day i got:

From colleagues:

A suprise tea and cake sesh in the art gallery + a nice bottle of wine

From fam:

Tickets to see King Creosote and Rozi Plain on Friday . Some Gentleman's Relish. "Tug Of Love" by Yahweh on CD. Fish and chips fer me tea.

From teh spill:

Lots of ace music and loveliness!! I have dl'ed the excellent songs and they'll always remind me of shane and birthdays and how nice everyone is!

Also, I would like to point out to all the young ladeez what read this blog, that I'm not that old!

Love your picture, Saneshane.

Here's something I've been meaning to explore that I can imagine Blimpy, Shane, and Nilpferd wanting to check out as well...

http://dino5.com/

I've listened to some of the tracks, but have not bought the album yet. Anyway--it's hip hop for kids, it's all about dinosaurs, and it's got Ursula Rucker, Tracey from Digable Planets, Wordsworth from Jurassic 5 and Scratch from the Roots. Good, right? I'm thinking of getting it for malcolm for his birthday in a few weeks.

Blimpy
good spot with 'your living all over me' on the right
on the left is the Dinosaur album before they had to add the jr. from 1985 (was you born then?)

If you are not too secretive, you'll have to send me your postal address then you can get a nice Blimpy artwork and mix.
(this won't be soon though.. there's a waiting list - sorry DsD, getting there - and my computer is still crashing in the middle of designs)

anyway carry on enjoying your chips/ wine/ etc.

By the way.. what did ya say to de rosa at homegame to make them Quit?

Blimpy - may I present to you, as a token of my esteem:

I'm A Little Dinosaur

Hope it works - play it to any mini blimps in your lives.

@shane - i told 'em that they'd never be as good as Daniel Merriweather.

@toff - i'll report back once the nipper has seen it!

Here's the dino 5 video. Isaac likes it a lot. Did I mention the whole thing is produced by Prince Paul?
http://thefictory.com/lab/blm/blh/d5theme-quicktime.html
Maybe Cassiel would like it too. Did I spell that right? Although maybe he and Mara are too old. Never too old for dinosaurs, right?

that's just cruel Mr.MacFlah.
(I did have to google Daniel Merriweather to find out how cruel - did Smiths fans really send him and Ronson death threats? - some people just don't have enough Procrastination in there lives - or was that indeed their Procrastination - who knows - has that image I'm working on saved yet... no wonder it takes so long.. if I keep typing away here... ah man.. back to work... may be I should close t'spill it's distracting... failed to do any paper work this afternoon.. cos I was photoing dinosaurs....... then photoshopping them... lettering is ruff but hey....... it's done whoopy! couldn't get a computer to juggle could you.

Not much to see, blimpy! Although the aural delights are such that you can almost imagine you're watching...

I did indeed, shane and posted up a couple of similar Blue Note pastiches I did for a mate's mix CDs recently. Not quite up there with the Wu Tang ones, but not bad for a beginner! Have a shuffty.
