It's a Vincent Black Lightning 1952

...and it's RT's most-requested song...
...and a song about having a shower...
...and a song of great social and political import...
...and a song about advertising signs (well, the chorus is anyway)...

I started my working 'career' in 1951: at the first place I worked, the Albion Sugar Co. in Charlton my boss came to work on one of these, I thought it looked fantastic, A couple of years later I was working at the Dunlop in Liverpool and my boss there also had one. And then many years later in California I found a bike dealer in San Pedro who specialised in 'em, he had several [used ones] on the floor, amazing given there were only about 30 built; great bikes.

Wow, I bet you're the only person who's ever seen that many! RT reckons they made 27.

Can't vouch for the bike, but it's still one of my favourite RT songs. Repetition never wearies it- just played it 4 times straight and it's sitting on top of my CD player too.
The Blue Bottled One I I've not heard. Would have sounded great on John Peel. More Clocker & Dusty please!
