The Lark Partitioned
This little birdie is a Skylark (Alauda arvensis).
Ralph Vaughan Williams had his lark ascending into a clear Fenland Summer sky but Robert Fripp removed several of the poor little bugger's tongues and preserved them in savoury jelly.
Then he separated the dish into pieces and here they all are;

WOW ...............
and YUM
What a labour of Larks
I came over all Jamie Muir during LTIA1 ... the cat draped round my shoulders, a swig from the ketchup bottle and much leaping around banging merry hell out of the kitchen percussion.
Now ..... quick tidy up, and rushing off to see the ever fabulous Jackie Leven at the Half Moon in Putney .........
Lovely way to start the evening, cheers Carole!
