Years ago a friend made me a tape of Vince Guaraldi stuff (including the sublime Linus and Lucy) which I lost - so it's wonderful to hear this again.
Of course the Simpsons' Halloween Specials always start with a cartoon graveyard...

OK - confession time. I have over 100 Peanuts books and once had an answer to a question about Snoopy published in the Grauniad's Notes & Queries!
what was the question??!?!??
It was about why Snoopy was only ever shown side-on on top of the doghouse. I can't remember the precise answer I gave but I do remember quoting Schulz's brilliant concept of Snoopy's ears acting like bird's claws and enabling him to lie on the doghouse without fear of falling off in his sleep.

Oh & a friend put Fluke on a mixtape for me. Loved it & didn't know what it was called til now - so thanks for that.
Thanks for all the kind comments – I simply enjoy being able to share the music. Shoey, I converted to Boxstr because Podbean refused – REFUSED, GODAMMIT! – to process Ballboy.
