DJ Malcolm

Well, as we're having so many pictures of adorable kids, I thought I'd take this opportunity to post the invitation for Malcolm's 6th birthday (which was ridiculously fun to make.) And here are a few tunes that Malcolm loves at the moment. Who knows what he'll be listening to in 10 years.

Pickin' My Way--Eddie Lang & Carl Kress
I Left My Wallet in El Segundo--ATCQ
Hey Ya--Andre 3000
Song 2--Blur

You've posted these invitations to Malcolm's birthday party? The Post Office must have mislaid ours, it hasn't been delivered yet (says DsD, deliberately misunderstanding).

NICE artwork - do you take commissions?

Not so sure about the rest, but can't believe I haven't tried Song 2 on my kids yet; thanks for that, sb.

& I thought the bugs were big in Florida.

Don't subject your kids to number 2, it sounds exactly like El Segundo [The Second!] I'd rate it much further down than that. It's the dreariest, dirtiest, industrial, oil refinery part of LA, right behind LA international airport, nobody lives there.

I'd love to see you at the party, Dsd--it's this Sunday. Although your Jess might be closer to Malcolm in age. Double wedding ?!?

And I'd gladly make an invite for anybody's party--gratis. But as you can see, it may come out slightly unconventional.

Gah, can't make the birthday party. We're at a wedding all weekend in Cumbria [note to self - ring hotel to see if they're WiFi'd].

You're right about Jess though, she's still six y.o.

Hmmm, I wonder ...

I forget, is it Malcolm or you that had the robot obsession? Anyway this is pretty cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c72ex6kSvcQ

Malcolm said "cool!"

That's what I said (not out loud though).

Hopefully you also didn't follow it up by running outside to conspire with your brother to drown earthworms, which (I regret to say) is what Malcolm did.
