i heart indie snobbery

Something over on the GU reminded me of this; it's very funny and I like to watch it about every 4 months or so....

It will appeal to any indie snobs out there (like me), or anyone who's been on the receiving end of snobbery about music...

Blimpy, that is spot on. I worked for Our Price back in the mid to late '80s and those people were my colleagues!

Reminded me of some scenes from Hi-Fidelity. Even though it was Americanised, it was still a pretty good movie *ahem* film.

Hi Fidelity rocks. Official. This was very good too. Anybody old enough to remember Not the Nine O'clock news and Rowan Atkinson trying to buy a "gramophone" in a hi fi shop, only to be copiously insulted by Mel Smith....?

If High Fidelity is the BEST film ever made about working in a record store; what's in second place?

And please don' say Empire Records!!!!
