Can't think about Mr Gallo without thinking 'Brown Bunny' - Chloe Sevigny - Oooo Errrrr. He has an exceptionally beautiful profile. You could ski down that nose. Will listen to the track on the strength of that alone.

does no one like his movies or acting? or music? or persona? usually gallo gets folks spitting teeth!!

ironically, he made loadsa cash off the sevigny blowie which sold hundreds of thousands of what was otherwise an unwatchablearthousemovie.

What a jammy dodger he is!!!

his shot composition in buffalo 66 is second to none by the way, when i was at video school i ripped him off endlessly, as did a couple of my peers.

get back directing you selfish greasy wanker!!!

I love Buffalo 66 but Mr Gallo himself is so full of shit as to be unbearable. He got laughed out of ATP for attempting to merchandise his own "limited edition" t-shirts at £80 a pop. They had something similar to the Ferrari stallion on them so at the next ATP, which he curated, we made some "limited edition" tops with a "My Little Pony" print and embellished them with beads and sequins.

@mne - noo way! that's too funny!

have you seen what else he's selling on his website?

@mnemonic. Would have paid £80 to see VG's reaction.
Haven't seen '66' since it came out. Must give it another viewing.
Film directors are rarely nice people but let's not let that spoil the movie eh?

I'm on the record as thinking that RZA is pure genius.

Vincent Gallo, though... I remember reading about Buffalo 66 before it came out, and I was so excited for it. I loved the way he talked about shooting it in reversal film so that it would have that yellowish quality of 70s NFL games. I guess I was bound to be disappointed, and I was. It was one of those things that had a lot of good elements, but just didn't come together for me. I think he tries too hard to be cool (although he has more heart or soul than Tarantino, in my opinion). And he is ridiculously full of himself.

Finally got the RZA/VG track to play (problem at my end). Scissor Sisters on dodgy mushrooms was my first thought. Which is only half a step away from lazy journo 'x meets x on acid' but meant as a compliment. VG would up his cool quotient by performing this in (limited edition) 'My Little Pony' T-shirt.
