No Deception Intended !!

SatanKidneyPie, a labelled disc of RRtunes, DarceysDad

For steenbeck, a picture of the mini-social. For tincanman, pictorial proof that we fulfilled his requirements to be allowed to call it a "mini-social". For SKP, my thanks for a very pleasant evening, and an advance apology for the gratuitous, erroneous, and probably libellous innuendo that follows -

So let's see, the RR topic this week is 'Deception', and DsD posts a thread featuring a picture of some footballers and a lawyer! Hmmmmm ...

I'm off to bed now, but as I have posted, and haven't done a 'Spill Playlist for a while, I will return to this thread later to add some deceptively good tunes, IMNSHO!

Just these for now ...

500 Miles To Memphis - Don't Mislead
The Zutons - Put A Little Aside
WGC - The Great Deceiver
2 Tribes - What Do They Want From Us?

Tiger's got a piece of fluff in every city; when DsD gets to town he can't want to score an RR social.

(Is that a Championship League stadium? If so, good idea to start getting used to them huh?)

nice snap lads!

Hope SKP didn't send you to sleep with his theories on Scottish indie and their part in the cultural diversification of Britain...

@DsD Suggestions of deception, eh: you'll be hearing from my libel lawyers Messrs Gimmeyo Money imminently...

@Tin A piece of fluff in every town? Actually he told me I was very special and not just another notch on the 'Spillpost.

And we were actually at Villa Park to watch the mighty Palace get crushed in the FA cup replay. Now the FA Cup's out of the way we can hopefully concentrate on avoiding slipping into League 1 ... or being wound up.

@Japanther No time to put forward my unifying theory of Scottish indie unfortunately - too busy worrying about Palace's lack of pace up front!

... and Palace certainly DO lack pace up front!!

Nah, Japanther, we were discussing the timing for the inaugural full RR Midlands Social, hopefully timed to coincide with a homeland visit from our Tokyo-based 'Spiller ... hint, hint!

Tinny, you're just jealous, aren't you? You still can't accept that I walked out of that garden centre on you so close to Christmas. OK, OK, I admit it was heartless, but goddamnit, I was being honest with you, I just couldn't see a future for us amongst citronella-scented candles and green wicker!!!

Well it was Christmas DsD, and I sat under that damn mistletoe for an hour and you spent all your time chatting up webcore.

It hurts, dammit. Tincans have feelings too, you know.

Do you want to come on a bike ride with me and webcore? Picnic included?
It;s going to be a mini-mobile-social...
