They invented the internet, but forgot to switch it off

More tests/flailing around in the dark:

Okay then; can someone try clicking on this and see what happens.

***edit: don't do any clicking if you don't want to download MIA's Paper Planes (original chorus version)***

What I'm really wanting is the mp3 to start playing in a separate window, but if you want to DL it you can right click (pc) or alt click (mac).

If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know!

Okay, that's progress, kind of.

Also, FP, the invite has been sent out, and should be with you soon as.

Another website that's good for live band sessions (and all with the band's permission) is

http://www.archive.org/index.php

So far I've downloaded Low, Liars and Little Feat (early 1976 stuff), and they've all been really fine quality.

I do like archive.org , i use it to get stock video footage from the olden black and white days for making videos with.

MIA's paper planes mentions "sitting on trains" coincidentally.

Saw this new cover version / remix song and video " M.I.A - Paper Planes (Diss By DeLon)" has been done by Delon (http://www.myspace.com/delonrap)

Ceylon Records - the label handling Sri Lankan Rapper Delon has released this controversial video -
M.I.A - Paper Planes (Diss By DeLon)

MIA Paper Planes (Diss by Delon)

Delon speaks about his Cover Version of "Paper Planes"

More from Delon....

Hi Delon/ Delon's record company,

Thanks for posting up links to your video, I watched it.

Now as I don't know enough about Sri Lanka's history it's impossible for me to pass educated comment on who's right and who's wrong in the situation.

As Primal Scream once sang "one man's freedom fighter is another's terrorist"

MIA's only appropriated a bit of conflict to aid her hipster chic, nothing more.

The Clash (sampled by MIA for Paper Planes) used to wear Red Army Faction shirts etc - mostly to look cool and add to their rebel stance.

It's all no biggie, really, rockers have been at this sort of lark for ages - and Delon; aren't you doing the same sort of thing to aid your career?
