As usual, Saneshane, good pictures and tracks. I just went through all of January's 'Spill posts looking for this duck track I'd posted way back in the beginning, and it was interesting to read through the early days of the blog.

Just posted this as I was running out to pick up my son... glad it set the ball rolling.

steen I need a copy of the Great Wuga Wuga..We were all so polite back then..and technically inept..now look at us!
(loved the RR duckology too)

OK some questions..
How does this yahoo player work?
or imeem? (that wont even let me log in!
and how have you still got podbean tracks playing from back in january..I have to keep clearing mine to upload more...
So some of us are still technically inept, see why I didn't join in on the computor debate eh.

Saneshane--I'll send you a CD!! I only have 3 Sir Lord Comic Tracks, but I'll try to find something else you'd like.

I did clear out a lot of the stuff I had in podbean, but I left those for some reason. And I started an account under Mr. Steenbeck's e-mail as well.

As for imeem, I don't ever remember signing on, but I guess I did at one point, because I seem to have an account. It works faster than podbean, I think, and it's simpler. I haven't tried making a list yet, just playing individual songs, and I guess TFD had trouble listening to it, so I'm not sure how it works.

thank you..there's a few things you've mentioned I'd be interested in ..

it's a shame that Podbean gets filled so quick (by me anyway) but I can just about do that now.
got into imeem (wouldn't work thru firefox).. so might try a playlist on that now.

all I need is someone to tell me how to edit bits on a PC now so I could have a go at a quizz...
nilpf what did you use???

(oh and still don't get boxstr/ photoshop/computers in general/ downloads/ stuff in digital/ life in general!)

well, not much hope for me then really is there...I'm going back to look at that cool blog with loads of birds on it, before I start twitching.

It never fails, everytime there's a bank holiday, the blog is late. It'll probably wait until Gordon leaves the house tomorrow morning to come up.

I want ANother Spring and feeling good--N. Simone, Some other Spring--B. Holiday, When the Spring Comes--Carter Family, beyond that I'm stumped. DId you go to the cinema today, Ejaydee? If yes, what did you see. And did you eat the CHENEY COOKIE?

ejaydee said...

Hey, I had those 2 by Nina ready! I didn't make it to the cinema in the end, got some Cds instead, I'm about to make a post about it, but podbean or boxstr are both taking ages. I might wait until next week so as not to interfere with this week's theme. Mr. Cheney's cookie stall was closed today. Was it because it's May Day, or because they know we're unto them?...

Epic 45 'stars in spring'
The cinematic orchestra 'rites of spring'
as you mention the cinema!

I'm off to try to put the kids to bed. What's the odds RR is up after that?

saneshane, I used Audacity freeware- version 1.2.6- available at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
I just basically inserted the songs I wanted to use, copy-clipped them all into a single track, then cut them down to size. You also need Lame MP3 converter to write an MP3 file when you're finished.
..and don't forget lots of nice Ninja Tunes tracks in your quiz.. ;-)

Thanks nilpf, I have audacity shall have a go when the boring job paperwork is finished!
..don't know if the last part is ethical..(see what I can do!!!!)
