The Everything Man vs The Banana Love Walrus vs The Speng

(1) Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's the Supersound!

(2) Barry White pushes his plantain in our general direction.

(3) "What are we going to do tonight, Speng?"
"The same thing we do every night. Plan TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!"

Out of pure self-interest, any chance you could check out the Boxtr instructions contained in Carole's post below? You always put out some great stuff, & I want to steal some of it! Not enough free-time these days to break-out Audacity for all the Podbeans or Deezers. However did we manage in the days of real-time cassette playlists? (However did we have such a great time on so little cash come to that). It must have been love.

Here you are, Shoey. I tell you, it's been an techno-epiphany joining up here. You could say it's like having a Spengali.

How To Download Mp3s From Podbean
(it also works for nearly all embedded players too!!)

if you press alt apple and a all at the same time in safari it opens up the activity window, in which you can see all the separate elements of the web page you are viewing. you can get the activity window up from the window tab in th toolbar also, i like keyboard shortcuts, me.

all you have to do then is identify the part which is the mp3, it's quite easy to tell as it'll either say .mp3 at the end, or you can tell by the size of the file, as most stuff that isn't an mp3 is measured in KBs rather than MBs.

then all you do is alt click on the thing you want which should begin thedownload to yr desktop!

the only ones i cant circumnavigate are some imeem players, cos i think it's .swf files that they use, and i can't be bothered converting them.

happy hunting!

Brilliant stuff, loved the Jimmy Castor one, and you can't beat Pinkie and the Brain.

@May - thanks a lot, appreciate it

@Blimpy Can't quite get your wonderful tip to work with Safari in Windows. I can get individual podbean mp3's into a quicktime page, but when I go to save, I get a file save window, but the file won't save. An upgrade to QT Pro might fix this. Can't break down Deezers at all, so FP's euro-pop faves are safe for now . Will investigate further, but this is very cool.

try holding down alt, then double clicking rather than single clicking. that should do it!! i've not attempted a deezerbreak as yet!!
