Freeing one from one's normal self by madness, ecstasy, or wine

Here's the convergence, in the last five minutes I mentioned "My Sharona" by The Knack as being the ultimate party tune in the comments to Shane's quiz. 

I then thought about how Run DMC sampled it for their awesome party song "It's Tricky". 

I then thought about how I once mashed up Run DMC with the Jesus and Mary Chain.

I then thought how awesome it would be if all these things came together already.
