This morning I was drooling over the line-up of the Roots Picnic in Philly and I started a journey into all sorts of 'Spillainous connections that I thought I'd share with you...
Diplo will be there, and I remember reading about him some time ago but I never followed up on it. I'm sure everyone's heard of him...he dated MIA, he brought Baile Funk to America, he's on a Ninja Tune imprint... I typed his name into youTube, and it turns out he's done a remix of the first video I ever posted on the 'Spill!! And the video, as it happens, is by Justice, who I knew nothing about, but who are responsible for Stress, as recently posted by Ejaydee. And then, would you know it, there is also a remix with Mos Def, who(m?) if you've been paying attention, you will realize that I like very much. So I'm going to post a few of those videos, as well as one that doesn't really have any connection to the 'Spill, but that I happen to like. If you're interested, there are other remixes--with Michael Jackson, with Daft Punk... I apologize for the rambling nature of this post, unfortunately, that's how my mind works...

Thanks for posting that - I'm a big Justice fan - goes with Daft Punk does it not? I had tickets to see them here but was in a very tough period at work and left the office to late to make it viable. I'll catch them next time!
