I'm exhausted just THINKING about how much whitewash and scrubbing went on in the making of that.

It is just amazing and mind boggling to think of the effort and skill and planning that when into this.
Just fantastic visually and sound tracked as well...
I'm in AWE.

I thought you'd like it Saneshane. If you click on the "Blu" I think it takes you to his blog, which looks very nice and has some more short videos of graffiti-animation.
Some of this reminded me of Street of Crocodiles (the head on robot legs...) done in 2 dimensions. He must have had permission from the city, don't you think, to carry out something on this scale. Wouldn't it be exilarating to have created something that required all that work and turned out that well?

Nilpferd, Amanita designs have a new samorost-style game. I'm going to wait till Malcolm comes home from school to try it, but it looks good. It's here

That's not working, is it? try this cut and paste method....

Thanks steenbeck, I've been on the road the last few days on business but I had time to watch the BLU clip before I went, it's really brilliant, had a lot of resonance for me with scratch films. Questionaut looks great, I'll introduce it to my daughter if the promised wet weekend turns up..

Do you think it's Kanye himself picking the stuff they post? He seems to have such a generous curatorial spirit. I admire that.

I'd like to think so. The was a post on Blu on the blog, and the title was something like "I bow to this" which sounds like him, since he instructs people to "bow in the presence of genius"(himself) on one of his own songs. But there must be somebody searching for things he'd like to have posted, unless he does nothing else but trawl through design websites while being on a stadium tour. Overall the content is pretty consistent, so maybe he has somebody pick stuff for him, but there are some cases I'm sure he wrote the post himself. Basically I don't know.

I think it's great when an established artist in any field uses their, what's the word?, fame, I guess, to help out lesser known artists. If they collaborate with them, or put them on their label, or in this case, help out artists in other fields by drawing attention to them. There are people looking at this art, or the one you posted yesterday for Saneshane, that would never have looked at it if Kanye West hadn't drawn their attention to it. I love that. It's so easy to be selfish with the attention (I would guess).
