Great - that's the most striking thing they've done in ages. I like the rough edges, and the...vim?... in the vocals.
They need to do something a bit surprising, don't they? I'd happily have albums 1,2 and 4 in my top 10 records of all time, but everything since Simple Pleasures has been a bit underwhelming (despite several great tracks along the way). The idea of the new album, which I hadn't heard about, is making me very happy. Thanks.

As long as it has some organ & mumbly vocals, all is good.
Blimey O'Reilly!!
Is that ... are they ... they ARE!
It rocks! It's Tindersticks doing the Rolling Stones on the office Christmas Party karaoke machine, isn't it?!?!
gosh, Stuart sounds almost cheerful, I like it :-)
Can't get it to download, but that's probably me.
@beth - right click or shift click or alt click the song title -that should do it!
it is quite "satisfaction" isn't it?
didn't know if I thought 'paint it black' just cos of word association but now you are saying 'satisfaction' it makes sense to me.
great track - gets under your skin after a couple of listens.

Barbryn, Give "The Hungry Saw" another listen or 2. It was another great one IMNSHO.
Ooooh, nice to hear Stuart slightly less overwhelming. This is, dare I say it? Quite funky, innit?
As a longstanding Tindersticks fan (who wants to touch my 7" copy of Milky Teeth?), I must just say: wooooooo-hooooooooooo!!!!
